I Did Not Vote For Obama Because I'm Black

By feenix

Yesterday, Barack Obama formally announced that he is running for re-election.

Well, that’s cool but as was the case in 2008, I’m not voting for him. In fact, I hope that if he is nominated again, he will lose the 2012 presidential election by a landslide.

One of the primary reasons why I feel that way is Obama is a Democrat and over the years, the Democrat Party and its left-wing allies have inflicted far more damage on American blacks than the whites who enslaved their ancestors ever did.

That is certainly true because ever since the 1960s that party and its allies have been carrying out a vast campaign to psychologically condition blacks to regard themselves as inferior and to be profoundly dependent on government handouts and the goodwill of left-wing white liberals.

Furthermore, the Democrat agenda has served to encourage a huge number of black males and females to do such things as abandon their children, to make babies out of wedlock and to become career criminals.

Worst of all, Obama’s party, the Democrats, and its left-wing liberal accomplices have caused millions of blacks to be murdered before they were even born.

No, I did not vote for Barack Obama.

"Democrat Party and its left-wing allies have inflicted far more damage on American blacks than the whites who enslaved their ancestors ever did."

Nice hub. I have voted it up.

I would just like to mention that the Democratic Party was the party that was against freeing the slaves.

sarclair, thank you very much for your response and for your vote. And you're exactly right; the Democrat Party (aka the Dixie-crats) was the party of slavery, just as it was the party of Jim Crow.

We should cut the party crap and vote for the person.

But when it comes to party alliance, I would rather vote for human welfare then corporate. because to be honest this sympathy for the rich I keep hearing about from Republicans makes me wonder if people are just clueless and not realize most of them are two pay checks from the street or they are living in a dream world and hope that some DNA test will prove they are somehow related and someone is going to share the wealth.

I am also tired of racial issues. What is it going to take for people to start seeing all people as just a member of the human race?

And I am tired of hearing how bad Afro Americans are doing I have a large number in my circle of family and friends, most are Democrats, They are hardworking, Educated and not one is on welfare or has been.

In fact the only people I know on welfare are a couple of white, single mothers and they do take advantage of the system.

So it is all matter of generalizations! And it really is time to move beyond that or kiss this country goodbye, because as the quote says “A house divided against itself cannot stand.”

Also some of you need to come out of the US and the PAST and look in from the outside, you might be surprised at what you see and it might just make a bit uncomfortable.

And for those of you that don’t realize it a large part of the planet likes and Respects President Obama. What is they see that you all don’t?

Hello, Justsilvie,

Thank you for your thoughtful comment.

You said, “A house divided against itself cannot stand.”

Then somebody needs to tell Obama to stop causing the U.S. to be even more divided than it already is by taking every opportunity to paint the Republicans as the nation's enemy and inciting class warfare by constantly criticizing the "rich" and large businesses.

As a matter of fact, last night, he was in Chicago to celebrate his birthday, which is actually today, and he used the celebration as an occasion to shoot down the Republicans, the "rich" and big businesses.

You see, Justsilvie, I have a very long track record as a leader. In the Army, I advanced to the rank of Captain and commanded nearly 1000 soldiers several times. And I was a high-ranking executive in the insurance industry for nearly three decades and for much of that time, I headed divisions that were comprised by as many as several thousand workers.

The reason why I mentioned those facts is to make it clear that I am quite familiar with the ways in which a true leader should conduct himself/herself. And please take my word for it -- Obama has very poor leadership skills. Right now, as president, he is in way over his head.

Many in this country are opposed to Obama because he is not a strong beacon standing atop the mountain. Presently, and because the man in the White House is such a poor leader, a great many Americans are becoming more fearful by the day, because it appears that the country is rudderless.

And so far as the "race thing," for so long as some people have white skin and others have black skin, race will be an issue. That is just plain-old human nature.

And welfare???!!! Back in the day when I was a young man, the vast majority of Americans were "too proud" to ever be on welfare.

However, because of the actions of liberal Democrats back in the late 1960's, with Democrat President Lyndon Johnson leading the charge, a great many Americans transformed from being "too proud" to ever be on welfare to being really glad to be on it and to stay on it for their entire lives.

No, no, no.

I do not have even one iota of respect for Obama or any of the other Democrat politicians. In the past and presently, they have done, and are doing, more damage to this country than any other force in history.

Hello again Feenix,

I am at the office so I will have to wait a bit to really reply. But I have to address your quote "And so far as the "race thing," for so long as some people have white skin and others have black skin, race will be an issue. That is just plain-old human nature."

I seem to know a whole lot of beige people so race must not always be an issue. Years ago we assumed Neanderthal man died out, now we know he interbred with Homo sapiens and passed himself on and mankind has continued on that path and will continue to do so. Whether some people like it or not.

Racism is pure ignorance in action and I see it come from every corner of the globe so no one race or culture can claim the fame of the most racist and ignorant, you can call it human nature but actually it is not it is a learned trait and one that can be unlearned and you are at the age to have seen this in action so you know I am telling the truth.

Hi, Justsilvie,

You must keep in mind that you and I, along with millions-upon-millions of others, are intelligent, broad-minded people. Thus, we are equipped in ways that keeps us from being biased towards people because of their skin color, religion, nationality, ethnicity, sexual orientation, etc.

However, on the other hand, I do not have to tell you that there are a whole lot of dummies on this planet who hate just for the sake of hating or simply because their mamas never taught them any better.

Or, it could be said that the human species includes a huge number of "retards" who are mentally incapable of NOT being prejudiced and/or bigotted.

Along with such diseases as cancer and A.I.D.S., scientists should probably be looking for a cure for the disease of stupidity. And until a cure is discovered for that affliction, such things as discrimination, bigotry, prejudice and racism will continue to exist.

I concur, I took score on CNN on election day myself. Watching the returns were quite entertaining and I wouldn't have missed it for the world, watching the returns that is.

I hate that black men, knowing most us are ready to die, are being represented by a coward with black skin.

In my opinion, the Obama selection was nothing more than a hoax to justify the accuracy of the voting machines, which no one questioned, due to a black man being elected.

If he wasn't president, I would have far harsher words but the last thing I need is to get shot kicking the shit out of some secret service agent who wouldn't know that I play for keeps.

Hey, VizFact,

Lovely greetings from Cool and Cloudy Austria,

Well before you say no to Obama in 2012 you better have a better candidate than you did last round. *grin*.

I really can't picture you raising a flag for someone like Palin even for Vice President.

Hello, Justsilvie,

I wish it were cool and cloudy here NYC where I live. I am sick and tired of the heat and high humidity.

And I have a great-big poster of Sarah Palin in "my room," attached to the wall behind my model-airplane collection ;-)

LOL! Is it the one of her sitting on the porch in Alaska watching the people on the Russian Shore?

Actually I am trying to keep a smile on my face because to be honest I am not sure anyone can fix the mess we are in. Democrat or Republican. People just need to inform themselves and vote for the person they most believe in and leave the whole party system in the dust.

But they need to inform themselves by aquiring knowledge from all directions and stop letting The media decide for them.

Hi again, Justsilvie,

Actually, I am optimistic about the nation's economic and overall future and the reason why is the following: I have been living for quite sometime now and over the years, I have seen this country get into some real fixes. Every time, however, the nation either worked its way past its troubles or it was rescued from its troubles by some unforeseen event or sequence of events.
