Planned Parenthood -- Its Most Renowned Founder Was A Stone-Cold Racist

70

By feenix

Every year on September 14th, feminists, pro-abortion/pro-choice activists and others who are in favor of abortion-on-demand celebrate the birthday of Margaret Louise Sanger, the “Mother of the American Birth-Control Movement” and one of the founders of the Planned Parenthood Federation of America.

Born in 1883, Sanger is regarded by feminists and others (including Secretary of State Hillary Clinton) as a “visionary”, and that is because she was the “leading proponent of her day of making motherhood a choice and of women enjoying sexual freedom”.

Well, that is true but there is one section of Sanger’s resume that her contemporary followers never mention: Margaret Louise Sanger was a white supremacist who often spoke about sterilizing all of the “irresponsible and reckless types who pose a threat to the American civilization”.

In addition, the feminists, pro-abortion/pro-choice activists and major media have never uttered a word about the following chapter Sanger’s biography:

In 1929, Sanger developed a plan that she named the “Negro Project”, and the following year, she implemented the project by establishing an “experimental clinic” in the Harlem section of New York City. And while running the facility, she personally oversaw the sterilization of hundreds of black women with hardly any of the subjects being aware that they had undergone the procedure.

To justify the project, Sanger contended that the U.S. had to “purify its human breeding stock and purge its society of its bad strains”. Driving the point home even farther, she added, “Colored people are like weeds and are to be exterminated”.

Essentially, the “Negro Project” is still being carried out and is going full throttle. That is obvious because when it comes to the total number of abortions performed in Planned Parenthood clinics each year, the rate for black females is seven times higher than the rate for white females. Also, nearly 80% of those facilities are located in, or in proximity to, so-called minority communities.

It is just that today, white supremacy is not the engine driving the Negro Project; it is money, big money.

Every year, Planned Parenthood receives hundreds-of-millions of dollars from government to perform abortions on thousands of gullible, uninformed and impoverished women and girls with black females accounting for a highly-disproportionate share.

It could be said that the nation’s black taxpayers are helping to fund the extermination of millions of their own people .

Wow how awful of her. I believe God has/will deal with her.

You know, I've heard this before and while I am not defending Margaret Sanger's racist views, she has to be regarded within the context of her own time. Many white people then were eugenicists--it became a fashionable thing to do. Am I defending it? Absolutely not. Color does not determine one's humanity, abilities or worth. But it is a bit disingenuous to yank a historical figure out of their own time frame and judge them by the standards of the modern era. Many of our Founding Fathers owned slaves, and very few took the Jeffersonian route of freeing them (which he only did in his will, I might add). Partially because the Founding Fathers are so revered in American society, this is seldom dwelt upon. They enshrined in the Constitution that slaves--African Americans--counted as 3/5 of a person. Am I going to defend these actions? Absolutely not but, again, within the standards of their own time these activities would not have considered as heinous as we presently regard them to be.

Sunny2o0o, please do not insult my intelligence. I am well aware that people are the "products" of their times. But Sanger did not merely hold a certain philosophy or attitude. She violated the law by having a considerable number of black females sterilized without their knowledge.

In my book, doing something like that is far worse than enslaving people. It is akin to what happened in the ovens in NAZI death camps.

You"re off the chain, Feenix. I thought you would be interesting. What this unGodly woman started is now hopefully provideing very personal women services to the poor that women of means also require. The genicide I hope has stopped. I had 5 brothers no sisters, I think a lot of sisters will have a word for you, brave post.

junko, I am sorry but I just cannot bring myself to accept abortion as "service" for women. In my opinion, when a male and female do not want to produce a child, the two should either not have sex with each other or they should take precautions to stop a pregnancy from occurring. If they cannot do those things, then they have no business having sex with each other.

I was not Aware that PlanParenthood is an abortion service. The name suggest plans for parenthood, not the avoidence of parenthood. I regress.

This is a very touching article, sad and true. The problem is not black women with babies, the problem is lack of proper education, lack of jobs, and opportunity for success. Families need to be more conscious, aware, and educated, so that these same cycles won't keep repeating from generation to generation. Voted up and useful.

Brinafr3sh, thank you for the comment and vote. And you are so right. More education and awareness is what is needed.

True. The program was the brainchild of neo-nazi's and is dedicated to controlling population numbers.

ElderYoungMan,

Actually, Sanger and her henchmen were Eugenicists loosely connected to the original NAZIs.

I just do not understand how some justify so vehemently the killing of babies but the safe treatment of murderers. Two commenter’s on here are giving backhanded defensive excuses for Planned “genocide” Parenthood. Education, yes, everyone needs it and more of it. Diatribe, rhetoric and ignorance of raw numbers, that’s the education some advocate. Great job brining this to light Feenix. “Standards of their time,” I still cannot get over that, I guess Napoleon and Hitler types were standards of their time based on that allowance…scary logic. God Bless.

Hi, Jason,

Thank you for commenting on this hub. Actually, I am disappointed that it did not get more attention than it did.

And that logic concerning Sanger was a "product of her time" WAS real scary. It nearly shocked me to hear someone say that.

Yes, this person was a tool for some very deceptive people. When I see a person such as this out front, my first thought is who is financing this poor double wide one wheel having living off the gravel road person. And there is a avalanche of money behind her, as Cris Tucker says in on of the Rush Hour Movies," follow the money"

Hello, platinumOwl4,

You are so right because among many other things, legalized abortion is a big profit-making business.

feenix hi there. I've just read this for the first time and although I'm horrified, it also doesn't surprise me in the least. Those who try to solve the world problems (or say they are) by opening those kind of clinics are just trying to rub out the sections of community who they disapprove of. Hideous people.

Hello, lizzieBoo,

Well, I am sure glad to hear from you, my very good friend.

And yes, some people are so empty inside and miserable, they have a pathetic need to appoint themselves as gods.

Feenix, just found and read this Hub. Wonderful to see the truth spoken, too. I remember in college how most of the professors sang the praises of Sanger. The one exception was my favorite history teacher - a very modern woman, too- who taught us the all the pertinent nuances of the feminist movement and its founders. She let us know that Sanger and her ilk were women of privilege who didn't mind using the influence of males of privilege to spread their Fabian doctrine. I always thought that teacher was pretty brave to teach the things that are usually not broached upon by modern educators.

Btw, I've noticed FB and Twitter have been littered in the last few days by people urging support for Planned Parenthood on the mammogram issue. I find this odd as I've had to get a few mammograms in my day and never had PP to pay the bill. I also had uterine cancer when I was younger and certainly never received help or even an offer of help from that organization. I can't help but wonder how many women have truly been provided medical care by PP, or is all the claims that they help women just a smoke screen perpetuated on the public.

Thanks for posting this valuable Hub.

Who, exactly, are "opposed billionaires," my brother?

I'm serious. I really do not know who you are talking about.

Not many people know that the first abortion clinics were started in African American communities. Drugs were piped in too. I remember when it all first started, the only ones squawking were "radicals" like Stokely Carmichael. White folks paid no attention, black folks not much.

I admire your guts

Hey, WD,

Also, abortion, along with what I describe as a brand-new disease (guess what that disease is), are presently being used in sub-Saharan Africa, Brazil, the Caribbean and the U.S. to carry out "black genocide."

WD Curry 111 profile image

It's no joke, brother. What's wrong with people? Don't they realize what's up? Don't they realize that G.W. Carver was the most practically prolific scientists to ever live? Not only that . . . he did it with what he could dig out of the trash. I can go on with a list of great men and women, but you know them. How many potentially awesome leaders are we being robbed of? They may have been able to prevent the inevitable disaster we are heading towards. It reminds me of Herod killing all of the babies.

I appreciate my Dad more every day. When we lived in Montgomery in 1967, he told me, "There is only one race . . . the human race."

feenix profile image

feenix Hub Author 3 weeks ago

Hey, WD,

The most dangerous thing about the "black genocide" that is underway today is that it is not being driven by racism. It is being driven by socio-economics.

"Black genocide" is being carried out in an attempt to save the world from collapsing under the weight of the vast number of unsolvable socio-economic problems that currently exists among massive numbers of blacks in Africa and the Western Hemisphere.

Unfortunately, you make sense.

Is it so conscious now, or is it running on mindless momentum from past efforts?

Why not put the effort and money in community development? The kind where you don't give a fish, you teach how to fish. What should we do?
